Phife Dawg Hat Trick Powers Dharma Past Sun 6-2

DALLAS– Phife Dawg recorded a hat trick and Phillip K Dick tallied three points as the Dallas Dharma overwhelmed the Los Angeles Sun 6-2 on Sunday. The Dharma offense exploded in the second half of the game, turning a tight contest into a rout.

The Los Angeles Sun opened the scoring with a goal from Marissa Mayer, assisted by Angela James, putting the visitors up early. Dallas responded quickly when Phife Dawg netted his first of the game off a pass from Janice Joplin. The Dharma took their first lead shortly after, with Phillip K Dick scoring on a play set up by Sarah Vaillancourt and Timothy Leary.

Los Angeles fought back to level the score at 2-2 thanks to a goal from hockey legend Jaromir Jagr, assisted by Maurice Richard. However, that was the last time the Sun would find the back of the net.

Dallas took control for good with a barrage of scoring. Phife Dawg scored the game-winner, assisted by Nick Holonyak, Jr. and Ronnie Spector. Phillip K Dick added his second goal of the night to extend the lead, and Phife Dawg completed his hat trick shortly after, capitalizing on a feed from Dick. Albert Camus rounded out the scoring with a late goal, assisted by Leary and Steven Sasson.

Dallas goaltender Manon Rhéaume was solid in net, stopping 23 of 25 shots to secure the victory.
